Unable to cancel order for buyer

Hi there, first time asking a question - somewhat of a novice seller. For the first time I was asked to cancel an order from a buyer, however eBay automatically declined the request on my behalf because "I already shipped the item" (which isn't true). I tried to cancel on my side of things, but it says "You let us know that you can no longer cancel this order because you already shipped it on May 22, 2026." Which definitely isn't the case. Any help or recommendations would be appreciated, thanks!

OP4 months agoThe buyer got back to me and said they'd still like the item, so all is good. But I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have a solution in case this happens again and they don't change their mind!
