Unable to ask eBay to help with uncooperative seller
Received an EMPTY 8.5 X 11 inch envelop that was sealed with no product I ordered. Envelop appears to never have had product placed in it as it traveled from NJ to CA. No marks inside or evidence of two boxes ever placed in them. Contacted seller to see if they forgot to place item in envelop and was told they did so. Followed steps:
How to ask us to step in
Find the item in your Purchases.
Select See request details (if your item didn't arrive) or See return details (if you're trying to return an item).
Select Ask eBay to step in and help.
Options are not clear or do not fully apply as I got an EMPTY package that appears to never have been filled.

Mentor2 years agoThe correct course of action is to file a "Not as Described" return and return the empty envelope if the seller wants it back and provides a return shipping label.

If the seller does not provide a prepaid return label, pay for tracked shipping or refund you, after three business days you should be able to ask eBay to step in and refund you.
