U. S. sellers tab option
I am aware that this plat form is avaliabe to a wide variety of sellers. However, when it comes to purchasing an item. Its always a crap shoot, sometimes it shipped within the U.S. other times it being sent from out side the U.S. with a crazy tracking number. Please make a tab option where i can either purchase from a U.S. based seller, or have it open to where items can be bought internationally. Second, the sales tax, if its bought in that country. It should be applied to that state or country where its purchased from. Im tired of paying california sales tax, you need to stop that ebay. Thats price gouging the customer. You dont store, or sell these items in your wharehouses. All other ebay purchaser's, u need to make you voice heard, dont sit idle.

However eBay does allow international sellers to ship from US warehouses. Also some sellers do not tell the truth about the item location. If you ever have a purchase where the seller did not tell the truth about the location be sure to report the seller using the report link on the listing.
I also recommend checking the sellers feedback profile page which shows what country THEY are located in. Also if an item has a very long estimated delivery date chances are it's not coming from the US.
As for the Sales tax.....it is charged by the State the item is delivered to and not based on the sellers location. eBay is required by law to collect and remit the sales tax to the buyers state.
On June 21, 2018, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled in favor of the state in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc. The decision allows states to tax remote sales. The sales tax is charged by the state the item is delivered to for all internet / remote purchases.
