Two buyers asking me to contact them after the items are sold outside of eBay
I’m getting frustrated by these scam “ buyers “ that never respond ( and don’t pay)when I question them and I have 3 sold pieces that I have to wait 4 days to cancel. These are my first two sales since I came back to eBay!! I’m getting charged fees and getting scammers to add insult to injury! Why should I bother to use this service?

·3 years agoIf you cancel after four days of non-payment (selecting non-payment as the reason), the sales commission will be reversed.
The scammers are preying on your listings because you have zero feedback and because you offer auctions or Best offer.
I would recommend switching to fixed price listings with immediate payment required to ward off the scammers who take your listings out of play. I would also recommend removing "Best Offer", because the scammers will still try that tactic to make an offsite offer.
Then, while the listings sit for a while, buy some of the small things you need from eBay to build your feedback so you won't look like an easy mark.
