Trying to stem shipping related losses.
I am a volunteer administrator for a non-profit that serves survivors of human trafficking. We sell refurbished computers that have been donated to us from corporations. We keep seeing large losses from orders being lost in the mail or stolen from customers houses. I'd like to insure every package beyond the $100 insurance that comes with the shipping, is there a way to do that besides going to the shipper and purchasing each label manually?

If you buy your labels through eBay, you can add more insurance to them when you purchase the label. Scroll down past the list of services to see optional service, including added insurance. Most 3rd party label providers also offer insurance. Pirateship.com has less expensive insurance than eBay’s Shipcover.
You are not responsible for packages stolen from the buyers’ property. Once the tracking shows delivered, it is the buyer’s responsibility. Shipping insurance will not pay a claim for a package stolen after delivery.
Insurance is always good to add on electronics, but do you lose that many packages in transit?
