Trying to return/refund a recalled item
I got an email today saying the flashlight I bought In Nov. 2024 is being recalled and to contact seller. The item isn’t showing up under purchases and when I hit Contact Seller, it goes to an Ebay screen telling me to register, but I’ve been registered for a long time, so I can’t get anywhere. Am I being scammed or something? Thanks!

Mentor1 year agoOdd that you would get an email telling you to contact your seller. The seller would have nothing to do with the recall of the item. I suggest you contact the manufacturer. That is who would be responsible for the product. It is unlikely you are being scammed. Just the seller isn't who you need to contact on a recalled item unless the seller actually manufactured the product which is unlikely.
