Trying to return an item
I just got an item I don't want and the mail carrier offerd to send it back. So I gave it to him unopened. However, I can't get a hold of the seller to let them know that I've done this. I can't use the return option for ebay because the carrier has already got the package back. What can I do? I can't contact ebay.

Mentor11 months agoSince you refused delivery and set it back you lost your eBay Money Back Guaranty and the seller does not have to refund you. eBay cannot force the seller to help you now. Hopefully the seller will be honest and be willing to refund you (less shipping charges) when the item is returned to them. By the way, not wanting an item is not covered by the eBay Money Back Guaranty.

OP11 months agoThanks for letting me know this. I really wasn't aware of the policy because I usually don't return an item unless it's damaged. Something I'll remember next time I buy.
