Trying to list an item, ebay incorrectly says dimensions are too large
I have been listing a number of new items recently. I've run into a problem with several of them. I input all the information, hit the List It button, and then get a Red Warning telling me the package dimensions are too large for the selected carriers. I understand the carrier limits - girth plus length not to exceed a specific amount, it varies a bit from carrier to carrier.
One of the items, for example has a weight of about 8 pounds, a length of 38 inches, a width of 8 inches and a height of 4 inches. My shipping policy is Domestic US sales only, using USPS Ground Advantage, UPS Ground, and FedEx Ground. Yet for some reason this listing is blocked because the "package dimensions exceed carrier limits".
I'm inclined to think a glitch in the ebay calculator, but perhaps it's something else? I've listed, sold, and shipped many items that were considerably larger than this, so it's got me stumped. Any ideas, suggestions or fixes would be welcome.
