Trying to get response from seller with a warranty claim
I bought a vacuum cleaner battery 4 months ago and the listing advertised a 10 year warranty right on the picture. Within the printed description down the page it says, 5 year manufacture warranty. My battery became defective so I messaged the seller. They didn't respond. I wrote again the following day asking for a reply. No response. It has been over three days without a response. I am not able to find anything related to this type of issue on the eBay help pages. Also, it seems, no is, very difficult trying to get help from eBay to contact the seller to initiate a warranty claim and get a replacement battery.
I could use help with this issue, thanks.

Mentor1 year agoManufacturers of items do not honor warranties on their items unless the seller is an authorized dealer or reseller. Did you perhaps purchase the warranty offered by Allstate with the purchase? If so, you can contact them using the phone number in the feedback they left. Otherwise, try to locate the manufacturer via the internet and see if they can help you.

OP1 year agoI did not purchase the additional warranty.
The biggest issue I have, other than needing my battery replaced, is that the seller has not answered my messages and it is now 4 days later. It would be nice if eBay would help contact their seller and intercede.

OP1 year agoDoes anyone know how to actually get in touch with eBay Customer Service? Their bots, and response offerings, don't fit all possible circumstances to put you through to Customer Service. It seems that if you don't pick the correct (if offered) button to hit, there is no help available.
I've been trying for a long time to get help for an item with an advertised (in two places, on the picture and within the listing) warranty. Seller ignores messages and eBay seems just as bad!
