Trying to get help with fraudulent seller
I purchased a One Piece trading card that turned out to be counterfeit. I requested a refund from the seller who agreed to the return and provided a shipping label. I mailed the item yesterday without verifying the address on the shipping label. When i reviewed the label today, it is not a valid address (the zipcode is for another state). I am concerned that the timeline for the seller to receive the item will expire because of the bad label and I will not receive my refund. How can I get eBay to step in?

OP5 months agoI just wanted to close out this topic and say that eventually, The eBay chat bought put me in touch with a customer service rep who called me and resolved the entire situation over the phone once they were able to verify that the label was fraudulent. Thanks for everyone who responded, The eBay community site is a helpful and great idea.

Mentor6 months agoIf you used the ebay return label you can on the fourth day of tracking showing received by seller you can go back to the request and ask ebay to step in if no refund was made. Do not close or let the case expire without doing this.
Otherwise it you receive a bad return label:
Contact ebay by chat (type in AGENT) or callback here:

OP6 months agoThank you for taking the time to reply to my post and to provide the useful links. I will track the package over the next few days and then use the links you provided to follow up with eBay if I need to. Thanks again.

Mentor6 months ago@docjest If you used the shipping label provided by the seller then you are covered. Once tracking shows delivery somewhere the system will require the seller to refund within 2 business days. If the seller does not then you return to the case and ask eBay to step in.
If the card is returned to you then you contact customer service and they will force a refund from the seller.
There is really nothing you can do at this time though.

OP6 months agoThanks for taking the time to reply to my message. I understand what you are saying, and I expect that the card will be returned because my address is correct. I will keep track of it and see where it ends up. Thanks again!
