Trying to change name to a charity account

I have always sold for a 501C3 company and it was not a problem to have my name on the account but Now EBay is reporting the sales to the IRS as sales by me not the charity so I need to change the info and Ebay won't call me after 4 requests.

If you have already enrolled in Managed Payments as an individual, you may not be able to change your account type. During Managed Payments enrollment, it was possible to state the account type and connect the appropriate checking account, tax ID, and documents.

eBay does not allow transferring an account to another entity, so the charity would need to open a new account of its own.

It should also sign up with PayPal as a charity. If it registers with PayPal as a charity, you can keep a personal account and list your items as 100% to that charity. The last time I checked, PayPal will invoice the seller account for the amount promised to the charity.

When you continue to sell from your personal account on behalf of the charity, you will still get a 1099 and would process the charitable deduction/transfer on your tax return. In your current status, be sure that you have an official letter from the charity indicating the relationship, and/or receipts for the transfers.
