Tried to buy a generator and it turned out to be a scam did not take delivery of the small envelope
Didn’t accept the little envelope that was shipped as my generator ups gave me tracking info all the way back to shipper but cant get my $3200 dollars back and cant talk to an actual person and explain the situation ebays automated customer service is useless to me

If you refuse a package from eBay and it gets returned to sender then you lose your eBay Money Back Guarantee. Yes, you were scammed but eBay only sees the result of the tracking that the Seller used on the shipment.
If eBay is not allowing you to do anything then you will have to pursue a payment dispute with your funding source, PayPal, credit card, etc. If you win the dispute, which will take some time, the Seller will be charged an additional $ 20.00 for them losing the dispute.

OP7 months agoThe package never came to me i was updated by ups the delivery was scheduled and saw they had put the wrong address so i went to the address and waited on the ups delivery and when he showed it to me i photographed it and walked away it was never delivered to my address its really gonna depend on whether ebay is willing to honor their end

Yes, you need to give eBay the opportunity to assist you.

Mentor7 months agoYour problem is you should have accepted the envelope and then file a case for an Item Not as Described to get a full refund. You can still try to contact ebay, but you are likely going to have to open a case through the payment processor.
