So about a month ago, a buyer opened a case against me claiming a card I sold them had damage on it when I had listed it as near mint. We settled it out and when we both relied on eBay to reach a consensus, he ended up just selling the card due to it taking too long. He messaged me and claimed he had dropped the case and that this was the end of it. The problem is, I still have -$1,350 in my eBay account and I have been selling things consistently but all the money goes to is to chip away at the negative balance. Even though the buyer had dropped the case, here I am well over a month later and I still cannot make a single cent. There is no possible way for me to battle this on my own and it feels like I am being crushed by eBay. Every time I look into this, eBay and chat gpt just tell me it takes time for eBay to get back to you. It has been months and even if a buyer closes a case, I still have to wait for ebay to do something. I need serious help I am just being crushed.
