Tracking return item to seller
I refunded and sent a prepaid shipping label to buyer
how do I track the package sent 2 weeks ago haven’t received back
how do I locate the tracking number

Mentor4 months agoIf you already refunded then the buyer can't access the label anymore and are not required to ship the item back.

If you refunded already, the label you sent the buyer was cancelled and the buyer can no longer access it.
If you want the item back:
1) Create a label from a 3rd party site such as Pirate Ship
2) Save the label. By default the label is a PDF file
3) Open the pdf label and Save As a JPG file
- You could also screenshot or "clip" the label to make a JPG
4) Send the JPG to the buyer by eBay Messages. (PDFs don't send through messages). Ask them if they would help you by returning the item.
PS - it's best to not issue a refund until you have the item returned. You aren't obligated to refund until the item is back, when you refund, the buyer gets a message that they can keep it.

OP4 months agoAnother question. If I sent a return label thru eBay. Can I not get the tracking number somewhere to see when they shipped.

You can see that label/tracking while the return is open.
Once you refund, the return is closed, you won't see the label/tracking, and the buyer can't access that label.
You won't be charged for that label, it will be cancelled.

Mentor4 months agoThey may not have shipped because as soon as you refunded them the label was not accessible.
When you refund before getting an item back eBay lets buyer know they can keep item.
