tracking number wrong

seller sent me tracking number but the name on the package was different and different address according to the usps do you think seller sent me the wrong tracking number...

Although it is possible that the seller made a mistake with the tracking number especially if they shipped a number of packages at the same time this is a known scam by some sellers. Once tracking shows the item delivered and you do not see it then ask the USPS for a letter on their letterhead stating the fact that the address on the label was not your address. Then you would use the letter to appeal the denial of the "Item not received" case since the seller will have tracking showing delivery.
