tracking number questions
Hello, I purchased a camera from someone with zero feedback. The item was supposed to ship from TN and a tracking number was generated right after I paid. The concern I have is that six hours later the tracking number showed an origin scan in California. Is this likely a scam, or is it within the realm of normal? I have contacted the seller several times since purchasing the camera, but they do not respond to me.

OP3 years agoJust to follow up here with the outcome. This turned out to be an empty package scam. The seller somehow generated a tracking number and mailed it down the street from my address.

OP3 years agoDelivery is expected on next Thursday, It was just shipped today from CA after an original tracking number was provided from TN.

Mentor3 years agoIf the tracking shows delivery but the item is not delivered to you, check with the shipping service to determine if the tracking number corresponds to a shipment to your address.

There are many good reasons to avoid buying expensive items from users with no history of successful sales.
