Tracking number froud

Question

Hello, I'm a victim of the fraud. My self and eleven more people bought Swarovski binoculars from seller. It was a great deal except it was a scam. Seller provided trucking number to the same zip code where I live but not my address. Ups provided proof of delivery and picture showing Amazon smal plastic bag and not my door entrance. I contacted ebay, and they opened the claim. But system showing it's been delivered. What should I do?

What kind of feedback does the seller have? Is the seller registered in the same country the seller claims to be shipping from?

If you file an "item not received" case you will lose because the seller has tracking that shows delivery in your immediate area.

If you file a "not as described" return, on the other hand, the seller will have to either refund you or else provide for tracked return shipping and refund upon return of whatever you send. If the seller does not cooperate, after three business days ask eBay to step in and force a refund.

In the future, avoid buying from new or inexperienced sellers, sellers offering deals that are "too good to be true", sellers that show signs of being drop shippers, or sellers that have drastically changed behavior recently. I am guessing that your seller falls into one or more of those groups.
