Ordered an item for Christmas in Nov for our son. The seller sent an email the same day that seemed rather odd.

We immediately contacted eBay. The tracking number shows it was delivered to Texas. We live in Pennsylvania. We followed eBay's instructions, and they said that we would be getting a refund. We have now disputed this multiple times through eBay and PayPal. The seller disappeared as we found out when trying to message them in December. The one time we spoke to someone from eBay about this issue, they actualy told us to keep in touch with the seller, and this was after we told them the seller is no longer on ebay. We just got a letter with information they are claimined that it was delivered. First, the tracking number is not coming up on USPS, and I have informed delivery, and the number also is not coming up when I searched for it. The other issue is that the weight that was on the item they claimed was delivered was only .12 pounds. The item I bought was more than 5 pounds in weight. This seems like a tracking number scam.
Has anyone ever had this happen and if so what did you do to get your money back?
