Tracking number fraud

I have proof from United States Post office that seller on eBay used a fake tracking number not associated with me or my address. My order weighs way more than the post office will even ship, yet seller tells me it's been delivered by the USPS. Ridiculous my item weighs 1500 pounds. I got nothing and the post office looked up the number the seller gave me, it was a 3oz envelope addressed to someone else and not to my address. Now I'm waiting on customer service and they were supposed to get back...

I'm sorry that happened.

1) You've already done the research about the tracking number not being addressed to you and the weight being incorrect.

2) Next, report the seller using this process

Important, select "The seller has violated one of eBayâ€™s policies"

then "Other"

Explain that the seller is using fake USPS tracking numbers

Include these phrases

Seller uploaded tracking not associated with my transaction
Tracking details were not accurate
Seller used a false tracking number

Don't write a novel, it's initially being read by a computer, that's why I want you to use those 3 specific phrases in the message.

3) Finally, contact Customer Service and inform them that the seller uploaded a "false tracking number" on your purchase. Request a refund.

I understand you are waiting on Customer Service, if they don't respond today, try this way

Just sent a private message to the page. Explain you have a fake or false tracking number situation.

Let me know how this goes, I've been burned a few times myself (including on Amazon), but I have been able to get a refund following this process.
