Tracking number emailed to the buyer after shipping

Is the buyer automatically sent an email with the tracking number for their package if you purchase and print the shipping label through eBay shipping?

Yes, as soon as you buy the label, eBay sends a message with the tracking # saying 'your item is being shipped'.
