Anyone run into this problem ....Tracking number added is already used by a different seller. eBay will not let me add the tracking. What the fix? Contacting eBay AI is the run around

Mentor1 month agoI've had it happen when I was out of stock for an order and purchased it from another eBay seller to fulfill directly.
Open the Order to view order details
Select "More actions" or "..." and select Mark as shipped
I then "Add note" to the order so I have the Tracking info attached for my internal use AND message the buyer with the Tracking Number.
