tracking number
just sold an item and the buyer is literally across the street from the post office that I use. I plan to personally deliver the item and refund his shipping cost. How do I eliminate ebays requirement to provide a tracking number. I want to maintain my stellar record of shipping withing 24 hours.

Mentor2 months agoI suggest cancelling the transaction, which will refund the buyer. Then relist the item with LOCAL PICKUP, send the item number to the buyer, and buyer repurchases and pays. ebay will send a message to the buyer with a QR code (as well as a 6 digit code). Buyer shows you the code which you enter into the transaction. That will prove delivery, since you won't have a tracking number.
