tracking number
I made a purchase and ebay didn't generate a tracking number to the seller. I am leaving and cannot see a history of the package moving through any system. I will not be home on the 6th. No one will be home, and my package will be stolen. Since seller cannot provide a tracking number, I cannot ask the post office to delay delivery. I don't want to take a loss on my purchase. I am tired of getting that automated bot. What can I do?

Mentor2 years agoYou can file a vacation hold with your post office. You can even do this online. The post office will hold onto all packages and mail until you retrieve them. I do not understand why you would make a purchase if you knew you wouldn't be home when the package got delivered.
