Tracking info is wrong
I have a person whose tracking number attached to her order shows it was delivered on June 13 but she didn’t buy the item until Sunday June 22 and I shipped it using eBay’s shipping. On my end I can see it was just created but when you open it up in USPS, that tracking number says delivered. Has anyone had this issue? And if so, how did you fix it?

eBay is working on correcting the issue, many have reported similar issues with sales showing they are delivered before they ship.
Some have experienced that the tracking error will clear once the Post Office scans the package at the counter.
This issue seems to be with tracking numbers that are being reused.

OP1 year agoThank you. I was actually able to find that when I was searching but I can’t find anywhere that we can notify eBay about this. My customer is worried it won’t get to her and I don’t want a dispute or anything to come out of this you know?

Monitor the track and if you think talking to eBay might benefit you then you can request a callback during west coast working hours. eBay Customer Service
