tracking an ebay purchase via paypal
I purchased some lawn mower blades to be delivered to a friend on ebay and paid with paypal. I did not receive any tracking information or vendor information. I can not track the order down to determine status. All I can find on pay pal is: "You authorized a payment of $xxxx USD to eBay Commerce Inc. (https://eBay.com/help)"
I have an order number and transaction number, but can't search anything up in eBay or find any details about the purchase. Ebay just shows my orders I made when I purchased something direct from them and not through paypal. All I want to know is if the order was delivered.
Any advice or thoughts?

·3 years agoDo you have an item number? Go to your My eBay> Purchase History and find the item and look for the item number in the listing.
When you paid did you make the payment on eBay choosing to pay with PayPal or did the seller send you a PayPal invoice and you paid that way? (which is against policy).

OP3 years agoI have a transaction number and invoice id. I paid by using paypal as the payment method. I have tried to search via the transaction number and invoice id. My ebay history only shows purchases I made last year.
I've tried the "help" feature on ebay, but have been unable to find any details.
So far a very disappointing experience.
