Tracking
I would like to see tracking improved by not having items shown as " shipped " until the carrier receives the package.
Often sellers print the shipping labels days before the carrier receives the package.
This gives a false impression that the item has shipped, when in reality the item is still waiting to be given to the carrier.

inceptions
Mentor2 years agoNot all sellers receive an acceptance scan and that can mean the next update after creating the label would be at delivery. Also, not all sellers purchase labels through eBay.
Many sellers have handling times of a few days all the way up to 30, but still purchase their labels right away as part of their shipping flow.
Most online companies provide a tracking # when the label is created - NOT when it ships. eBay is the same.
Bottom line is that it doesn't matter when the seller ships as lost as you receive the package by the estimated delivery date shown in the Purchase History.
