Check the tracking directly on the USPS site not eBay. eBay tracking is not updated in real time. It is not uncommon for a USPS package to receive it's first scan at a regional sorting facility several days after it is dropped off and sometimes not until the delivery scan when delivered. The most important thing for buyers is the estimated delivery date on the order. If there is no scan and you do not receive it by the last date you can open an item not received claim.

OP1 year agoI appreciate the info and response. It is the usps website that I’m referring to on the waiting for item pre shipment message.
I’ll wait until the estimated time of arrival date before further actions or complaints are made. Just an expensive piece of equipment for work, not the end of the world.
