Tracked item was undeliverable to buyer and being returned to seller. What happens next?
USPS attempted delivery to address provided by buyer but tracking states there was "no access". Made two attempts. Seller contacted buyer but got no response to message. Now package is being returned to seller. What happens now to the proceeds of this sale, fees, and shipping that did not go through due to no fault of seller? P.S. buyer had no feedback so may have been new to ebay.

OP9 months agoThank you for your quick response and advice. I'm hoping to get some type of response from the buyer as I wait for the postal return. So far, I've heard nothing.

Mentor9 months agoOnce the item is returned, the seller, presumably you, would refund. Your fees will also be refunded. You can deduct the amount of shipping, but only if it was calculated. You cannot deduct free shipping. If the buyer contacts you wanting to purchase again and provide the correct address, you can if you wish. Personally, I would block them and not allow them to purchase again.
