Toner cartridge doesn't work - return window closed
I purchased a toner cartridge and the return window had closed (by 1 month) by the time I needed to install it. My printer doesn't recognize it and It doesn't work. I have contacted the seller 2 different times over the past month to ask about suggestions & have had no response. Is there any way I can get some resolution at this point?

Mentor2 years agoUnfortunately, ebay's Money Back Guarantee expires 30 days after receipt of the item, so it is too late for ebay to help you. When I had a printer that used toner, I shook it awhile in order to get a few more copies out of it. Try doing that. If you paid with Paypal, they allow up to 180 days from date of sale to file a case. If you paid with a credit card, contact the card issuer regarding a charge back.

I did try shaking the toner and moving the strip back and forth that is for cleaning and also something another seller sent me with another cartridge to get the printer to recognize it, but to no avail. I did pay with a credit card through PayPal, so I appreciate the suggestions. I will try that. I appreciate your reply!

OP2 years agoJust wanted to let you know that after some back and forth over the past few months, I got a resolution in my favor from my credit card company. Again, thank you so much for your help!
