Time crunch
I got an email and a message saying my product arrived. It did in fact not. And another saying I only have 24 hours to dispute. What steps do I need to take to make sure this doesn't get swept under the rug? The seller's name is sketchy which I did not notice when I ordered. Just letters and numbers. I just want to make sure I have time to question my local post office and figure it out before they close my case.

Mentor4 months agoTake the tracking number down to your local Fed Ex office and have them check their GPS for where the package was delivered. If it was NOT addressed to youi and your address, have the Fed Ex clerk state that on their letterhead. They don't need to state the name/address attached to the tracking number, just that it was not addressed to YOU.

Explain that the seller is using fake USPS tracking numbers
Include these phrases:
Seller uploaded tracking not associated with my transaction
Tracking details were not accurate
Seller use a false tracking number
Don't write a novel, it's initially being read by a computer, that's why I want you to use those 3 specific phrases in the message.
