Time Away longer than 30 days ?
Summary: ironfinder is planning a two-month trip and is exploring options for managing their 3000 eBay listings during this period. I have used eBay's "time away allowing sales" for a 10 day period, but now I want to take a 2 month trip. I have about 3000 listings, so I really don't want to take them all down if I don't have to. I am trying to determine what options I have. Can I use the time away option for 30 days with no sales allowed. When those 30 days are up, repeat for another 30 days hoping no sales sneak in between the two periods. Will ebay allow me to schedule another one immediately?
Any other ideas? If I were to end all my listings, would they be available to "relist" after 60 days or would I have to re-create them all? If I took this option, since my eBay store is month to month right now, could I cancel my subscription for 2 months and save the $75 monthly store fees (assuming timing of my trip matches the renewal date of my store)? Would that affect whether my listings are eligible to be "relisted" if that is an option?

I agree with @rfmtm that the out of stock option is the best as it keeps your sales history on the listings.

Mentor3 days agoBest thing to do is use the Out of Stock option. Set this option in your preferences and use the bulk editor to set all inventory quantity to zero. This will keep all the listing active, but not shown for purchase until the quantity returns to greater than zero.

Go to Multi Quantity Listing and turn on Listing Stay Active when out of stock.
