Time Away

Question

Time Away settings in eBay allows pausing sales for up to 30 days. However I will be away for 90 days. Should I simply end all my listings? Will these ended listings be available in "Unsold" after 90 days? Thank you.

Since you will be gone longer than 30 days you can end the listings, or set your account to enable the out of stock feature. The out of stock option will allow you to set all your quantities to zero and still leave the items listed. When you return you go in and add the quantity back in and the listing will be visible again (after it is re-indexed).

To turn on the out of stock feature go to your account settings selling preferences page https://www.ebay.com/uas/selling-pref

in the Multi-quantity listings section enable: Listings stay active when you're out of stock

Once you are back go to your seller hub listings page and you can add the inventory back for each listing by clicking the pencil icon in the quantity column.

If you delete the listings they will stay on your unsold page for 90 days. Since you need to keep them longer you can create a template of the listing to save it and use that to create a new listing at anytime. You will need to create the template from seller hub before you end the listing, the option is in the drop down actions. You can not create one from an ended listing and would have to do it from scratch.
