"this seller has chosen not to receive messages."
I am trying to get more information on a fairly expensive item, $15k. When I try to contact the seller I am notified that "... this seller has chosen not to receive messages." I am hoping it might be a mistake as the seller profile reports that they usually respond within 24h.
The EBay support pages don't have any helpful suggestions. I am wary of bidding on such an item without some feedback from the seller beforehand. If there were other options for similar items I would immediately pass, but this is the only thing like it that I've seen.
Is there really no way to contact the seller? Can I depend on the EBay/Paypal buyer protection and refund policies in this situation?
