Mentor1 year agoThe return was closed means that there will be no refund or follow up on the claim.
What reason did you use for the return. What were the terms in the listing as regards to returns.
If the seller had a no return policy they will be able to deny the return and close the request.

Mentor1 year agoI need more details.
What type of return did you open?
Did you return the item?
What was the return policy in the listing.
I can't answer unless I know why and when you opened the return and what the seller stated return policy is on that listing.

OP1 year agoI opened the case that I bought the item by mistake (true statement). The policy says, not return.
I did not return the item yet, I just opened it. The item is used (no surprise), btw I need to check if it is even authentic.
Thanks for all your help

Mentor1 year agoIf the seller does not accept returns, and that is stated in the listing, then the seller does not have to accept the return. The seller can close the return request.
It is important to take heed of the return policies before you purchase in case things like this happen (you change your mind)

OP1 year agoWhat about the following from EBay:
If you’ve talked to your seller and the
issue still isn’t resolved after three
business days, contact eBaY

Mentor1 year agoeBay is not going to force a seller to accept a return because you changed your mind.
The seller stated their return policy and that was in place when you purchased the item.
They stated no returns. There are no returns.
If the seller states that they accept returns, then you would be able to ask eBay for help.
As you stated in this instance, the seller does not accept returns. The request was closed.
What was the item? Can you try to sell it or give it to someone else?

Mentor1 year agoHi @jerryres
That sounds like the wording of eBay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG), which protects buyers when they purchase an item that turns out to be 'not as described' in some way when they receive it.
Since you acknowledged that you purchased the item by mistake, which is a 'buyer's remorse' reason for requesting a return ... AND the seller has a 'no return' policy ... then you aren't covered by eBay's MBG. I'm very sorry.
