This listing would cause you to exceed the amount ($50,000.00) you can list
Hello,
I am encountering the following error message when trying to list an item:
“This listing would cause you to exceed the amount ($50,000.00) you can list.â€
However, when I check my selling limits on the eBay Seller Hub, I see the following:
• Nothing listed and sold yet
• 5,000 limit on the quantity of items
• $0.00 listed and sold / $50,000.00 limit
Given that I haven’t sold any items yet, could you please clarify why I’m receiving this error related to the $50,000 limit?
I understand that the limit on the total value of listings is $50,000, but since my listed items are still at $0.00, why am I being prevented from listing?
I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue.
Thank you for your assistance.

See if you are able to register you bank account and establish a seller account.
Try to add your Bank Checking Account here:
https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list
Here are some common issues
- The email and phone number listed here must be marked "verified": https://accountsettings.ebay.com/profile
- Your Bank Account name MUST -exactly- match your eBay Account Name. First Middle Last
- Your Bank Account MUST be a Checking Account.
- If you have a Business Checking Account, your eBay Account must be a "Business†type.
- Your profile address must be a street address. (Your shipping address can be different)
- From my own personal experience, please check the banking information on a computer not on the app.
- Micro deposit amounts not verified.
Repeat: Make sure that your Checking Account name is the same as your eBay Account. IE John Q Smyth is not the same as John Smyth or John Quentin Smythe
Repeat: It must be a Checking account, not a Savings, Cash Management, Debit, or Prepaid account.
(If your Checking Account is Business, your eBay Account must be business)
There are two ways to link most major bank accounts.
One way is the "log in" method, the other is by microdeposits.
✓ Has eBay sent you Microdeposits? That is a 2 step process. Once you get them, you have to go back to eBay to confirm the amounts.
If you are able to add your bank account and do the other steps above, see if you can list you item now.
