This listing allowed...my listing using this removed
 I used the exact sticker circled in this active listing in a resin ashtray. It was removed by eBay within a week for violating their adult policies. I see these listings all the time, so I'm just confused as to why my listing was removed. Do I just happen to find these before they are ultimately removed? I've read the email from ebay a few times now, and I don't understand the violation, and there's no way to contact them for clarification that I can see. Would the listing above be in violation of ebay policy? If so, how exactly?

Mentor2 years agoThe image circled would be nudity according to eBay's definition.
eBay defines nudity as showing any part of male or female genitalia, anus, or female breasts where the areola or nipple is visible. The following are also considered nudity:

1) Nudes that don't contain se xually suggestive poses or se xual acts are allowed, but they must include the "Item Specific" attribute Subject: Nudes.
- The "Item Specific" restricts to 18+
2) They should only be listed in the following categories:
- Art categories
- Collectibles > Paper > Pin Up > Vintage (Pre-1970)
- Collectibles > Postcards > Non-Topographical Postcards
- Collectibles > Photographic Images > Photographs

Regarding listing pulldowns:
Even though you may see other listings, it does not mean the item is allowed.
✓ The other listings you see are like the cars speeding by on the highway.
You're not allowed to do it but some people do. Not everyone gets caught. You're still not allowed to do it though.
Those sellers are risking their accounts by listing these items and that can catch up with them at any time.
they get a serious warning on their account. Or, their account will be closed.
I know it is hard to understand when you see the listings but trust me, sellers who violate policies do get caught.
