If you purchased as a guest you must first sign out of your current eBay account before using the link in the email, or else open that link in a private or incognito browser.

Mentor1 year agoSigning out of the app, or disabling the feature that opens eBay links in the app automatically also would have worked, I believe.

Is it possible you made that purchase using a different eBay account? Or as a guest?
