I'm selling a case, not a medical device. How do I defeat eBay's faulty designation of my listing(s) as a "Medical Device"?

OP2 years agoYes, the case is for a medical device. However, the keyword is "case". Do we need a prescription to buy an iPhone case? The same holds true for my medical device cases.

Mentor2 years agoAfraid the bots only see the name of the device not allowed and I doubt ebay has anyway of making an exception for you, but you can try contacting them.

Sounds like the bots are detecting a string of characters or a word that makes it think it is a medical device.
Is the case for a medical device?
