Third party shipper
I dislike the fact that I sold an item and addressed it to the address provided by the buyer yet my funds are on hold for 25 days due to the fact that the postal code was different at the time of delivery. I confirmed with USPS that it was delivered and it was the same address. I think this is a scam, due to the fact that this item is being shipped overseas and was delivered to a third party shipper. The funds should be available once the item is delivered, period.

Mentor1 year agoWhy was the zip code different from what you had on the label? Not likely a scam. Third party shippers known as Freight Forwarder are used all the time. This is not likely the reason your funds are on hold.
Ebay has had a rule for many years that pertains to New Seller and sellers that have been away from selling for 90+ days. The following is the policy that outlines why you money is likely on hold.
