there's got to be a better way

Question

I just now meant to send an invoice, pressed the wrong button, and purchased a label instead. Now the item is marked paid and I just want to set things back to the way they were. I know I can just cancel the order, put the item up for sale again, and contact the buyer, but I don't think either of us should have to go through this rigamarole. Is there a way to put things as they were just twenty minutes ago?

Unfortunately, there is no way to go back to the invoice step if you marked the item paid and printed a label. Additionally, the print label function is not a one click operation.

You can cancel the label within 28 days on the following page and your account will be credited in 21 days or less. Track and manage your shipments

You will have to work out the cancellation, relisting and repurchasing the item with your cusotmer.

Why did you want to send an invoice? eBay has rules about sending invoices to buyers.
