The shipping label for my order has my incorrect old address on there. How do I change this?
I checked and my correct up to date address is on the app and website so I don’t get why the old address is being used. I have to ship by tomorrow. How do I fix this? Can I cross out the old address? I would appreciate a response as soon as possible. Thanks so much.

Mentor2 years agoNo, you cannot just cross out the return address. The tracking and postage cost is based on where the item ships from.
Verify that your return address is correct here:
https://accountsettings.ebay.com/uas/addresses
The next time you purchase a label, check the zip code that is displayed for your Ship from / return address. If incorrect, click the Edit link and select the correct address. After that, it should stick.

OP2 years agoOk, I didn’t see that section until now and it was using the old address. So what do you suggest I do? Just send it as is? Is the return address there for the people delivering the package or the buyer? I was thinking I would message the buyer and give him my correct address just in case. My concern though is mostly if it’s undeliverable or there’s a problem and it needs to be sent back….

Mentor2 years agoIt's also a fraud issue. As I mentioned, the shipping cost is determined by the to/from zip codes.
No you should not mail the package as it, cross out the address, or anything else. You can just void the label and create a new one.
You can void a label within 5 days of purchase here:
https://www.ebay.com/ship/lmng/labels-history/my-ebay
It will take about 14-21 days for the refund to come through.
