Mentor3 years agoBuyers can only REQUEST to cancel an order. It is up to the seller to actually file the cancellation for Out of stock.

Mentor3 years agoSeller just wants you to ask to cancel, so he can select "buyer request" for the cancellation reason rather than "out of stock" to avoid a penalty. You have no obligation to do this, if he cancels and lies, you can report him. If he doesn't ship you can file a dispute for a refund.
