The Seller sends defective or non-functional parts
The Seller
[Removed by Moderator] promised to send me a new one since the throttle body I bought from him didn't work, but he demanded photos and whatever else he wanted, waiting until the period for me to leave negative feedback had passed. In all his communications, and I want this reviewed, the seller tells me I don't have to return the damaged one and that he'll send me a new one to my address, which never happened. Now I'm complaining because the time for me to leave feedback has passed, and I got away with not receiving a bad or negative rating. That's what I'm complaining about.

Mentor8 months agoYou had 60 days to leave feedback for the seller. You should never have let the seller hold you off for that long. eBay has a Money Back Guaranty that is good for 30 days from receipt of the item. You should have filed an "Item not as described" case within that time period. The seller would have had to either just refunded you or sent you a prepaid return label to return the item and then refunded you. It is now too late to get eBay involved.
However, check with your payment source about a charge back. Most payment sources will allow up to 180 days from purchase to ask for a charge back although some have a shorter time limit.
