The seller lists an item with the wrong country of manufacture.
I reported an example where the seller listed the country of manufacture as the United States. In this case it's wrong and could mislead the purchaser. The item in question was the PSVANE brand of vacuum tubes which were/are manufactured in China/Hong Kong. I received a reply back from an eBay customer service agent via email (with a no-reply email address) stating "We looked into your report and didn’t find the listing to be in violation of our policy. This determination was made by a customer service agent.". So has anyone else found that accuracy of an item's description is no longer important? Due to this experience on my part, I may not purchase items from this seller even though there is a good selection.
