The seller is no longer registered and the order is stuck in pending cancellation
I made a purchase and requested a cancellation
The seller never responded and their account now shows as “no longer a registered user.â€
The order is stuck in “pending cancellation,†and because of that, I’m unable to open an “item not received†case.
I already had another order with the same seller refunded by eBay, but this one is still pending.
My question is:
Does eBay automatically cancel and refund orders in this situation, or do I need to wait until the system allows me to open a case?
Has anyone experienced something similar?

You may need to wait for the cancellation request to time out.
You can also try eBay's social media customer service to get assistance
