The seller did not reimburse the return shipping cost

The item was defective upon arrival. I tried to return it, but the seller did not provide a return shipping label. The seller promised to refund both the item price and the return shipping cost if I sent it back through USPS. I returned the item as instructed, but the seller only refunded the item price and did not reimburse the shipping cost. After the refund, the seller has not responded at all and has gone silent. As a result, I suffered a financial loss. There is no option available on the eBay site to open a dispute regarding this issue. What should I do in this case?

Mentor1 year agoIf seller is to pay for return shipping never use your own funds to do so, always wait for a prepaid label or advanced funds from the seller or ask ebay step in, otherwise neither you or ebay have anyway to force seller to do so later.
