the package was delivered and the buyer gave negative feedback saying they never received item. tracking shows package was delivered to their mailbox.
how long does it take for eBay to resolve a false claim reported by a seller ?

If the buyer opens a not received claim and you provide tracking that shows delivery to the correct zip code, the case will close in your favor and the neg would be removed.

Has the buyer opened a not received claim? If yes, have you responded with the tracking #? If yes, the claim would usually close in a day or so. The feedback should be removed when the claim closes.

OP2 years agoI opened the case and supplied eBay with tracking and delivery info. Its already going on 3 days. No response from the buyer.

You didn't open a not received case - only the buyer can do that. I assume what you did was to request feedback removal. I do not know how long that review can take. Since it is not covered by the seller protection policy, it may not be removed.
It is possible for the buyer's feedback to be accurate, even with tracking showing delivery. Postal carriers are human and packages get mis-delivered. Did you give your buyer any info on how to follow up with their PO?

OP2 years agothe customer said they found their package in the back of their mailbox a few days ago. still waiting for them to retract their negative feedback, still waiting for eBay to even reply

That is great!
The buyer can not retract their feedback without you sending a request. Message the buyer and ask if you send a request, would they change the feedback. If they say yes, then go to your feedback page and click request revision.
Don’t send the request until the buyer agrees, since it closes in 10 days, and you can not send a second request.
