The listing I bought my speaker was a sham. The seller is a sham. How do I cancel my order?

Mentor1 year agoHave you tried contacting eBay directly? Perhaps the answer they give would be more to your liking.
Returns, items not received, and refunds for buyers | eBay
To contact eBay, use the chat assistant that you reach from the Help & Contact page to request a call back.
What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.
Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.
If nothing else works, try this link:
https://www.ebay.com/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid
If you are unable to get a call back, that may be for several reasons; a location outside of North America, VOIP phone, and call blockers (personal or that of a service provider) are often issues.
Try contacting eBay via social media direct message:

Just be prepared to hear the same answer. The seller is not required to cancel the order. You should file an item not received claim.

IF/WHEN the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed by at least 1 day without receiving the item, you have up to 30 days past estimated date of delivery to file a Refund Request:
Go to your My Ebay page >> Purchase history
If the seller does not respond after 3 business days, you can ask Ebay to step in to help you.

OP1 year agoI purchased the speaker April 5, 2025. Today’s date is April 10, 2025. The seller hasn’t taken any action towards sending the speaker nor responded to any messages. I think it’s reasonable to cancel the order immediately. I think the listing and the seller are a sham and the sooner they are removed from the platform the better.

·1 year agoBuyers can't cancel a sale they only request a cancelation from the seller.

As has been explained to you by several other mentors in your other posts regarding your purchase, you will need to file a Refund Request as soon as the estimated date of delivery has passed.
Buyers cannot cancel their purchases/orders.

OP1 year agoWhat advice did you give? What knowledge? I already knew everything you told me. I reported you to customer service.

Mentor1 year ago^^^ Done, both the listing and the seller.
If you already knew everything that was advised, why are you here?
What @lady_madonna advised is what you should do.

OP1 year agoThere are two Bose speakers in question. The first was a sham. The listing and seller were removed. The second required customer service contacting the seller to get him to ship the item. I thought the second was a sham but it was just the seller didn’t do anything until customer service took action.

·1 year agoAnd in another thread, you stated that you received the order and were satisfied, so why are you still beating this dead horse?
