the last two orders I placed with ebay were delivered to the wrong address. I once ordered many prod
products from ebay and miss not being able to because the delivery persons can speak a little English but cannot read English (this is very true) The last two orders were not delivered despite my efforts to find them to no avail. Ebay refused to refund me and basically will not go to bat for me. I havent ordered since and will not order in the future.

If the packages were delivered to the wrong address or if the seller didn't send the packages to the address on your order, get written confirmation of this from the post office. You will need this to appeal eBay's decision in an item not received case.
You can appeal the decision here:

Thank you for posting but the issue here not with eBay. You need to go to your local Post Office and complain to the Post Master.

OP8 months agoHello mr _lincoln,
My packages from eBAy were not delived by the USPS but another delivery service.
I have no problem with the USPS deliverys service as they have a key into our apartments with my personal delivery box. If eBay would deliver using the USPS , I would continue making purchases through eBay.
As eBAY has no control over how their customers ship products, I cannot make a request to have my products shipped using USPS. ( correct me if I am wrong) Thear are so many delivery services out there, and unfortunately , their drivers speak english ,but have no idea how to read english which is why my products from eBay were delived to another address and were stolen when I went looking for the products.
I am to old now to start trying to locate my miss delivered product and only use the USPS and UPS to make my deliveries .

If you are not going to contact the carrier to get written proof that the items were not delivered to the address you provided on your payment so you can pursue a refund, then I'm sorry but eBay can't help you.

OP8 months agoWow , what world do you live in?? Many delivery persons in Denver can speak a little english to get by. Howeverr they "cannot read delivery address 's" and therefore I receive a picture of a delivery to somwhere else. Tell me how am I going to know what company made the delivery and then proceed to "prove" " it wasnt delivered to my address? This is exactly why I discontined ordering from eBay. I live in a huge community of 3500+ people in 50 different buildings. Unless the delivery picture has the address in view, its lost, stolen, gone. I never had a delivery problem when I lived on a street in my own house. The apartment scene is a whole other ball park. At least Amazon is more than capable of making accurate deliveries in my neighbourhood and immediately refund or replace lost product. Not eBay.

How do you identify the carrier?
You should be able to determine that by the company who provided the delivery photo and the tracking # from your Purchase History.
eBay doesn't ship packages. Individual sellers do. Amazon ships their own packages with their own trucks and drivers and tracking systems. Two very different business models.
If your package was delivered to your door, it could have been stolen by porch pirates. That would be a police matter.
I know you want a different answer. I'm just giving you an answer based on eBay policies. I'm sorry you're having a difficult time.

OP8 months agoThank you for your follow up, and yes it has been frustrating moving from our house to an apartment .
However, we now choose our places to order from based on who is making the deliveries. The postal service and Amazon are the most reliable for the situation we find ourselves in.
Sorry to say Ebay is not an option any longer . I miss eBay for all its products and great prices.

Why not just buy from sellers who ship with USPS. Many if not most sellers do. You'll see the carrier service used in the shipping details on the item listing.
