The lack of "phone "support" is criminal
No matter what time of day I call, the recorded message says it is outside of normal business hours. I have literally tried every hour from 5 AM CST to 12 PM CST. Same message. It may be time for a class action lawsuit. Either way, I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Office. This is a shameless attempt by eBay to save money by not staffing phone support, but to make it seem like they do.

@007commanderbond007 - how are you trying to call eBay - if you're using an old direct dial toll-free#, those no longer work. We have to request a call back from CS in most cases.

Yawn, another threat of class action by someone who hasn't read the User Agreement. You can find a lawyer who will be glad to charge you a fee for explaining the UA to you, or you can save a couple of bucks by reading it yourself, there's a link to it at the bottom of eBay pages. Once you get it open, you can use your browser Find feature to search for the word class and that'll take you right to the section. Anyway, good luck to you, whatever you decide.

OP9 months agoYawn. So, instead of looking at the first reply, which was actually helpful and you could have agreed with, [Edited by Moderator] to another community member? How about just agreeing with a response and being a better mentor?

But JB, if I hadn't clued you in about the User Agreement, you might have unnecessarily wasted an amount of money paying a lawyer to tell you that you agreed not to instigate a class action. Just looking out for your best interest.

OP9 months agoNice try. You weren't trying to be helpful or you wouldn’t have started your “helpful†response with “Yawn.†That condescending and you have no business being a mentor if you are going to be condescending. Again, you could have either ignored my request or just agreed with the initial response. There's no reason to be snarky or condescending to people seeking assistance - EVER. FULL STOP.

Oh, I get it now, that's what has your knickers in a knot. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings; I would not do that on purpose. I've seen so many comments about starting a class action suit, posted by users who obviously don't know what the User Agreement says about them, that it becomes tiresome. I forget that, although I've seen it a hundred times, for the poster it's their first time. Some responders would have informed you more delicately and that's fine, but it's not my style. I'll treat you like an adult and a respected agent of MI6.
